Addressing the factor of population, alongside and in harness with consumption, is progressive, pro-people, and pro-planet. It’s grounded in empowering choice, enabling rights, and promoting positive, available, wanted solutions. It also offers one of the most impactful actions for addressing climate change. Robin Maynard shares facts and enlightened perspective about this frequently misunderstood or misrepresented issue.
Maynard is director of UK-based nonprofit Population Matters. His environmental career has included senior positions with Friends of the Earth, FARM, the Forestry Commission, Soil Association, and Wildlife Trusts.
